I ve just joined your magnificent forum and i have read a lot about cnc machines(ok a lot for me....because to complete reading this forum will need about 4 lifes )


To the subject....

I want to build electric guitars ....Bodies and necks....
Not for hobby but at the same time not for mass production

Imagine a small Luthier company...

So i have a few questions....

My budget is 4.000 us dollars and i want to buy a ready to go Machine..
(i dont have the time and the knowlogde to build my own)

I am searching the market and as far i have decided not to choose a chinese model...

So i have to options...
Us market(which means lot of options but dutys to import)
and europe Market(less options but not dutys to import)

My first question is...
Dimensions
I decided to buy something between X 40cmxY 60cmxZ 10cm to 50x75x10
I am allright with this dimensions?

2.My dillema (after searching the web) is beetween 3 models...
Fireball comet Vs Xzero Viper xz Vs High-Z S-720

All of three as i read had their advantages and disadvantages....

But which of three is closer to my situation? (calculate all the parameters i mentioned above ....Value for Money+shipping+aftersales support+My amount of production +construction+speed.....or something else that i have missed)


I would be pleased to answer to me ...especially people which owns this machines and their subject is woodworking and more especially Musical instrument making...
