I have a Kingston vmc, converted to cnc by a guy named woody in Calif. The machine has heidenhain 310 controls. I ran the machine at work for a few years and bought it when they replaced it. I didn't power it up for about 4 mos and it lost all parameters. Then I found out they never copied the parameters and woody has retired. I got the machine back to English, when it poweres up everything seems normal except the screen to reference axis doesn't come up. Anyone have a similar machine with copy of parameters? I really need some help.

You gotta do some homework because if you type in values that are not correct you can have more trouble than previously.

Write ALL the values down before changing,
change only one at a time,
qualify the change has worked,
revert to old value if not.

i remember secret passwords were required for heidenhain to access all the values.

i think NET123 accessed the network settings.

Their are other 6 or so other passwords, i forgot, it's been 7 years ago.

We've two Parpas VMCs i.e. THS100 & XS32 with Heidenhain control. We need to create the backup of their Hard Drives as the Hard drive of THS100 got failed June this year. It took about two months from their to get new Hard from Parpas.
Can any body suggest how to create a backup disk by cracking SIK protection? I think the version is iTNC530.
