My problems is:

My company put me in charge of buying a CNC mill. I am a toolmaker and have 10 years of experience on CNC's.

We will be making Embossing dies and do general engineering on it , like jigs and in-house machine parts. Pricing can be justified, but like all bosses will say "Save were you can."

After 2 months of research and numerous reps I decided on the Haas VF-1.
I added a 15000 rpm spindle. Specs can be viewed at

Haas VF-1 | Haas Automation, Inc. | CNC Machine Tools

I cannot find a reason why this machine wont do the tasks, especially the high speed machining and the intricate detail that will be required. I want to add two electric or turbine spindles of 50 000 rpm for the ingraving. The electric spindle have a frequency adjuster to lower rpm.

Can any one confirm that the Haas VF-1 is the right machine and give me advice on what type or make High speed spindle to buy.
