False Alarm 430 servo overheat problem. Servo is not hot!

I have a Fanuc Oi-MC with Beta motors on a 3 axis mill. I get a 430 alarm "x-axis sv overheat". Sometimes this happens after 5 minutes of running, and sometimes I get the alarm just a minute after startup with nothing running. The servos are not active and are stone cold.

I have checked connections. The motor thermister measures 70 kohms, which is about the same as the thermister on the y-axis motor.

Does anyone have suggestions for repair or a service company that can help? I am in the Milwaukee area. Or I could ship the drive to somewhere.....

Is there a way to bypass the overheat alarm, and allow the machine to run?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

In some instances the OH alarm shows up if the motor current is running high, as it anticipates the overheat condition.
