Hello All,

I have been away from Mastercam for a long time ( since version 9 ). I can't for the life of me figure out how to draw a horizontal line!

It used to be create>line>horizontal> snap the line and then enter then enter the coordinates.

When drawing a line, go to the auto-cursor settings (icon looks like a black exclamation mark) make sure Horizontal/Vertical is picked (and any other attributes you might want) and click on green check, Now when you draw line, you will see when the line is vert or horiz because there is a symbol that shows you(right beside your mouse pointer)

Many ways to draw a line. A few ways to draw a horizontal line. One method is enter coordinates of end points. Another as mentioned, is click mouse for the first end point, then with horizontal icon enabled, enter length. Or, make perpendicular to a vertical line. Or....

That works for the basic fore sure, that is old version. The file he is using is still used today and I was using it bac in the day when I was teaching V9. You have to love YouTube.
