Are are some changes that have been made to the software that effects how you setup your axis of rotation when using V25 for indexing. This thread is my attempt to go over these setup and explain what you need to do.
1) Please use the default machine make BC_4x_Mill
When you load this machine make the BC-4X_Mill post will load automatically which is fine for this example.
The Part:
We will be working with a part that has a hole that needs to be machined on a specific angle. Using a indexer and an index system BobCAD will find and post this angle automatically for us.

Ok where to start... The first thing we want to do it rotate the part so that is aligns with the world coordinate system for the axis of rotation. We do this so when we measure our work offset location from the axis of rotation we can dimensions with out having to swap axis values

* The machine setup determines the tool path orientation, the following images are to help visualize the part setup and align the axis or rotation of the part to the indexer.

Ok the next step we want to do is run our stock wizard and and define our setup location

Now that we have our machine setup for the part, we want define an index position for the hole .

Now that we have our index system setup we are ready to load a tool path feature and start programming.
There is one additional step that is needed. We need to define the axis or rotation for the part. We do this by measuring the distance from axis of rotation and the machine setup position.
We will enter this value in the work offset section of the machine setup.

***** If you already know the index value of your part you can always just define a machine setup and set the index value in your posting tab for the tool path wizard.
