I hope someone can give me some pointers



I need help milling to the 2 T-slots in EdgeCam Advanced Milling 2011.

I'm fairly new to EdgeCam but completely newbie when it comes to slotting and seeing as I haven't been able to find anything in the help files I could use, nor any videos on the web I thought I could ask here.

My part has already been roughed and the holes are made, I'm simply missing the T-slots.

I really hope someone can help.

Can you do it on a manual machine, or is this a production part?

1 Mill the small slots undersize to the depth of the T slot.
2 Mill the T slots, they look thick so 2 or 3 Z moves may be required
3 Mill the small slots to size
Some times a woodruff cutter can be used

Problem solved!

Turns out I was identifying the wrong feature in Edgecam. Once I found the right one I could use profiling to get it fixed.
