    High feedrates

    Can a Fadal 3016 run more than 50 ipm without messing up the surface. Another problem is cutting holes at around 50 ipm they will turnout oblong. Please help!!!

    Boring holes they turn out oblong at high feedrates. Lets say cutting a trim line with a down step of .01, the corners are not square, the radius isn't round. The thing is can you cut surface at a 150 ipm. Without out it looking like ****. If you can what g codes and m codes do you use. I know g9 will slow down at corners and radius, do you trade speed for quality?

    Also does anybody know anything about the m94.1, m94.2 codes? Does anybody use them!

    Yes, you trade speed for quality. All of the codes should be explained in the manual. Do you have a copy?

    If you need a HSM machine, forget about Fadal and get a Makino.
    Fadals are great but they are not HSM.
