    Any Thoughts?

I have only cut hot rolled steel on my table .will cold rold cut the same with the same settings and is it hugely more expensive
I need to attach 5/8 letters to 5/8 plate I thought I would epoxy then drive split pins though the letters and weld over the ends as this needs to be powder coated and I want to avoid rust runing out from between the parts.
I thought cold rold mite be a cleener sufacebut mybe sand blasting hot rold mite be the way to go
    Any thoughts ?

If I understand you are asking about using 5/8 thick plate w/ 5/8 thick letters. Cold rolled is not going to help you here and cost would be HIGHER. I would just blast the scale off and that will profile it for a good powder coat also. The raised letters will have to be well sealed or you will get bleeding rust.

I am thinking I will epoxy the lettrs to the plate then pin them just to be shure then epoxy primer and two part pant I would use powder but the epoxy will not take the heet and I don't know another way too seal between the parts.
