I've had some dead ends trying to find someone willing to sell me 20lt (smallest?) pails of Concrete superplasticizer.
Apparently, people aren't interested or expect me to chase them to take my money. (I have limited patience for businesses like this).

Tried a Concrete supplier near me but the guy I spoke to didn't even know what Basalt was.:tired: Barking up the wrong tree there!
A distrib of Cosmotron (Ability product) didn't like what I was going to do with it and then lost interest. ...and so on.

Anyone know of a supplier for SIKA, BASF or TAM products in Victoria?

Trying to make a poor man's HPC based machine base.
Plan:
1. Have some Polypropylene fibres (forced to buy this from UK) to reduce shrinkage and cracking. No rebar required.
2. Sika Control 40 Shrinkage Reducing Admixture
3. Sika ViscoCrete 20HE - High Early Strength Superplasticiser ( Can be used with Sika Control 40)

Basically the same recipe that is used for concrete countertops you guys in the US use. Seems no one here cares or knows about this.
Not certain of the size and type of the aggregate yet.
Would buy this stuff/equivalent in a heartbeat from anywhere in the world if I was certain it could get through customs but I cannot take the risk.
Seems much easier to get almost anywhere else.(chair)
