Dear All

Please let us know various ways of saving power in case of CNC Machines with Fanuc Controlers and Drives.

When just screen is ON, with just a - on drives, what would be the power consumed in this stand by mode

rishikesh Sir,
put a clamp- tester between the earth wire and in a phase together , you will find the reading , Better put a 0.001MFD/1KVA capacitor between all 3 step down phase after isolation transformer . and Two 0.10MFD capacitors / 630V in 24 V and in 110 V circuit it will save the energy due to spikes cycles and irrabit frequencies in case of Idle machine .
Fanuc has standard power rating and saving methods , but the auxillary peripherials Like CT , IT and The 24 V PSU are not made by Fanuc so cycles are not exact as fanuc recommends.
