    NO z movement on 11M

so i was gone a week and come home and Z will not move .. (x and y work fine )
its on a accumax if i remember correctly .. mill m11 control
tried MPG and jog buttons ..
cant do from a program because not homed ..
have tried OT release , and pushed all other buttons a few times to make sure none are sticking ...
head is about halfway done the mill ..
made sure all limit switches were not stuck ...

i swapped the top servo amp board with another and no difference .

both leds on the drive are green ..

idk if it is supposed to say anything but main mother board says 1 on the display .

    tested all fuses ..
the servo is getting power , IE it has holding torque
checked the brushes , looks to be 3/4 long or more .

going to take apart all connectors and spray them with cleaner tomorrow ..

what else could it be ?

It sounds like the Z-axis interlock is low. Most likely a tool changer limit or tool clamp limit not made.

found the problem , it was the toolchanger ..
air cylinders must be sticky and dont always return all the way home .

i didnt think it was Z neglect ,, becuse when that is on .. the numbers move without movement ...
i had no number movement .

    thanks
