    dmu 50m/tnc 124 c encoder alarm

    Hi,
Our dmu 50m with tnc124 controller gives alarm c encoder defective. Normally when we remove this c axis in parameters and add it again this alarm goes away. Now its not. We have interchanged it with b axis and all works fine until we turn power off. Then it gives alarm. Even removing c axis in parameters and adding again removes alarm clock and machine works but as soon as we turn power off and on again alarm reoccurs. So nothing is wrong physically with encoder. Plz advice.

Maybe your encoder cables are defective, or the connectors have a bad contact. The control watches, if all encoder connections are ok, if one of it dont work correctly, you get an alarm. But the fault can be everywhere from the motor to the control.

Encoder and ports must be OK as I have switched c and b axis. Moreover after removing ,referencing and adding c axis machine works fine. Problem reoccurs when we turn off power to machine. So problem must be in control. Parameter access code is 95148, what is the code to access plc parameters for tnc 124. The code for later controls is not working for tnc124.
