    Question multicam 3000 motor fault

    after enableing I get the following error code

    Motor fault ( 0x 17 )
    Drive 1 ( XA )
    Teknic Comm Error.

    Can anyone explain this to me?
    Please point me in the right direction

    Multicam 3000 motor fault

    You servo drive could be failing to establish comms with your control board, depending on which control board you have, you could move cables around and see if the problem moves or does it stay with the drive.

    Can you tell me if your machine has a blue control board and is labeled 2521?

    Multicam 3000 motor fault

    Give me a call, you can actually move your cable around and with your control board reprogram your drive to try to narrow down if it is the drive or the programming.
