Could use a little help getting started with solidworks.

You are asking a lot with a little input.

First what is your prior experience?
do you learn by doing, observing, reading, or?
Have you had geometry and algebra instruction.?
are there local collegees?

lots of pre reqs.

Wanted to sit down with someone for a little bit to go over some questions.
Yes school but does not start till jan.
No math just high school.
learn by observing.
not too much exp.

How about starting with CAD in general rather than SW specifically.

without geometry and a few other math courses this may be a struggle.
I can't predict the future tho.

Get a book and start reading
there are older cheap books of solidworks lessons.

Solid professor seams to be good.

solid works is easy self taught in 99 been using it every since
just go thru the tutorials you won't need much help
