    8200 Control

We use Surfcam exclusively to program. Does anyone know if the new 8200 control uses the same post as the Centurion 5,6,7? Just ordered a new VM20 with this control. Will be here in a couple of weeks.

The difference between the Centurion 7200 & Centurion 8200 is the operating system, no changes on the programming side. Your Centurion 7 posts will work identically on the Centurion 8. I have GibbsCAM here, but it should still hold true for all cam systems. Posts for older Centurion controllers (5 & older) may be a different story. Good luck with your VM20.

Thanks Cadman. I have a 5 & 6 control and assumed that the 7 was the same. This control is fairly new so I was thinking that some updating was needed. We’ll go with the same Centurion 5 post that we have been using for the past 16 years.
