can't help with the code but if you spend 5 minutes and type each M code from M10 to M99 one at a time in MDI then press start for each one while watching the parts catcher for movement you will have your answer..... might be quicker than waiting for a reply. not a lot of tech info on the net about Hitachi G/M codes for Seicos controls.

    Hello,

what was the last code you input. Sounds like you did the M code for C-Axis engage. And by the way, what Seicos do you have, II or III? and what machine? I can tell you the info you need, I have all the books.

It depends on the control. Almost all of my Seiki lathes have chip conveyors, but none are controllable via M-Code. Take a look at the conveyor box, if it has one cable going to the machine then it (more than likely) cant be controlled via M code, as its probably just the power cable. If it has two, then the extra is for the control side and can be programmed to an M code, or might be programmed already. Let me know the control if you have two cables and I will look it up in the wiring diagram.

There are cases where there is one cable and the Motor-Starter is inside the control cabinet, but I have only seen that done as a owner-upgrade.

They dont look to be connected to the control. You have the 3 power going in, and the three power going out to the motor. To interface to the control there would need to be a third cable to differentiate between manual / auto mode and to connect the relays for the M code to the Motor starter in the conveyor. I will look into it more, but it looks like a manual conveyor to me.

While you're here and helping, if it's not too much trouble can you post a complete list of M codes for a Hitachi Seiki HT? There's almost no info on the net and I'm sure it will help someone in future :-)
