Hallo,
i have a Prolox 60 with an Ercocut s45 on my DIY PLasma cutter. In this moment i use only the Z Switch in LinuxCNC but i will build a THC with an small microcontroller.

So i need a voltage divider, or is there a port with a 5V (or industrie 10V) analog signal ? Can i build the divider with (4,7k+4,7k) + 220R resistors with 5W and LC Filter? can i but it direct on the + and - cable, or is there a better measure point ?

Hallo,
here is a picture from the PCB... I found Torch ON, and the ARC_OK Relais.

at the part with "???" I measure 3.3V wenn Arc_OK, but the Value is very constant...

to finish it,
the cutter works now, some mistakes in the Software but i think i am on the right way.

The Voltage input is the Plasma Voltege!!! You can easy pic it up at the white pipe at the buttom of the cutter. I have not find a voltage divider output ...

a question, is it possible to measure the arc with a multimeter ?

yes why not?

i must do it for the THC

the question is, digital multimeters have the maximum range of 1000volts AC and about 700DC, are not plasmas capable of 20 000 volts (20Kv) ?
Did you measure yours ? what is maximum and minimum value ?
