Hello,
Our school has an old EMCO F1 CNC Mill, that has had a recent software and firmware uograde. Unfortunately the gib on the Y-axis recently broke leaving the machine down.
I have removed the broken gib, and cleaned up the gouge marks on the slide. I now need a repalcement gid to finish the repair. Are there any gibs in stock? If not, how do I go about procurring a repalcement gib? Are there any drawings that I can use to get a replacement gib made?
Your help in continuing our school's Technological Studies Program is greatly appreciated.

I made new gibs out of amco bronze and they work very well.
