    Question Any free engraving project software for students?

    I am looking for a simple engraving project for my junior class ME students. We have FADAL, Legacy CNC 88, and not much of a budget for upgrading.

    Any suggestion would be most helpful and appreciated.:idea:

    if you are just trying to engrave letters and numbers, fadals have an easy fixed sub-routine for that. i think it's L92.

    Yes, I've been using this sub-routine for engraving names and numbers, but would like to try some basic art design.

    There is no better than f-engrave for free engraving software. The developer is going at it at a mad pace, it is getting better allmost by the week.

    Does line engraving as well as v-carving of input text as well as dxf files and more.
