I don't use ArtCAM but I did do something similar in ViaCAD. These are the steps I used even tho the names I use may be different:

    1. Create a spiral/spring shape that represents what the center of each rope strand would look like.

    2. Draw a circle perpendicular to one end of the spring.

    3. Do a 'single rail' extrusion of the circle using the spring as the rail, this should create a spiral shape. If your spiral has one than one strand, duplicate the spring shape as many times as you need and rotate it so the center would be in the center of each rope strand. It looks like your example may have 3 or 4 strands.

    4. Export the results in a format your CAM system can import or work with.

    Good luck

I don't use ArtCAM, but the picture you posted looks like it could be easily handled by CNCWrapper. While the CNCWrapper software is great for converting 3D gcode into 4th axis gcode, it also has stand alone capabilities which can do many other things. (Like the rope shape you have pictured). I think the registration fee is pretty low- seems like it was $20 at the time I tried it out. You might want to give it a try!
