    (repost) turning with live center

I have a Mori NL2500. I want to turn between centers with a live center but I cant lock my sub spindle seperate
from my main spindle. If I use M68/M69, both spindles lock/unlock. The same with M268/M269. How can I hold my
live center in the sub spindle without sub spindle turning. I am currently using a dead center with my spindles
in sinc but I am having run-out troubles with the dead center. Surely there is some way to apply the sub spindle
brake without also applying the main spindle brake. Thanks.

this problem was solved in the other thread you posted before. the general answer was you can't do it without options. why are you asking again? and if you want more info why not ask is your same thread again to keep everything together.....
