    Haas or Doosan or Hyundai-Wia

    Hello everyone,
We are planning to install our very first VMC at shop. We are into general engineering and machine all sorts of metal viz. Carbon steel, EN8-EN19, Aluminium, Cast Iron. We are looking for DNM 400 and DNM 500. Also we will be producing components at volumes of 20000 to 30000 pcs/month. Also we are considering Hyundia Wia F400 and F500. Also in HAAS we are looking at VF2YT / VF2SSYT. Its really a tough choice here to select the machines. Also we are a little tight on budget so cant go to the Japanese niche machine tool brands.

    Thanks in advance.

Haas all the way, made here in USA, parts are cheap and machine is easy to fix. Plus, most schools have Haas machines and chances are you will find employees that already know The Haas control. And Haas makes all kinds of machines so in the future if you need more equipment Haas has what you need. We cut all metals with our Haas machines. Get the side arm tool changer.

Is you would like to run it 5 years from now buy quality machine and not a nice control.
Buy a Doosan with Fanuc, or if your not THAT good at programming, with heidenhain. But the siemens drives nowadays aren't what they used to be!
