    Hi
Do any of you know where I can find a nice detailed 3D solid drawing of an Audi TT?
My plan is to mill a small copy..

    Thanks ahead!

hmmm... the one that was there has been removed, for copyright reasons I suspect...

you can buy the 3D models from various places for about $70 e.g. http://www.3dcadbrowser.com/browse.a...e=2&category=2

    or $16 http://www.linefour.com/3D-CARS/Audi...uct-flyer.html

    or free here: http://www.sharecg.com/v/7808/3D-Mod...e-3d-max-model

let me know how you get on..

The sketchup model warehouse has some good TT's.
If you need higher res/quality mesh, try turbosquid

I should be able to read solidworks files but maybea its an idea to try .stp .stl .iges ... Sometimes it can be hell to make convertions work ;-)

    I have a Supermax FV56 A and a Deckel FP2 NC.

Is it for hobby or prof. use?

    it look like this

it's in your email (6Mo in iges)

the stl file is 18Mo: i need a solution to send big files

impossible in step because it's a "surfacic work"

(i want a cnc for hobby use)

    voila

I do a bit of basic 3D modelling using Cinema 4D and I have been looking round for a model of a Audi TT , I have tried creating my own, but they have all been dreadful! There are a few places that sell very good models, and I try to buy oneAudi TT 3D car model! I would truly recommend that for you too ! There is important quality I think so. Especially when you are going to use 3D model somewhere Bye for now
