We have a Brown & Sharpe MicroVal CMM with Renishaw MIP probe. We have replaced the probe maybe 4 years ago and now the replacement probe is acting up. Can you recommend a source to repair the MIP probes? The computer is a DOS based system. Can you also suggest a source for a modern replacement computer presumably with modern drivers? Thank you!

The MIP Probe is discontinued and has been replaced with the MH20 probe. The issue I have with that is now you will have to buy modules at a cost of $900.00 ea. The modules com in low, std, med and extended force. If necessary we have 1 last MIP probe left. If you are still in need of it send a PM over.

The Renishaw MIP probe was discontinued and replaced with the MH20. The issue is that the MH20 requires you to buy a probe body and separate modules. The modules come in light, standard, medium and extended force. Each module will cost a bit over $900.00. If you are still in need of a MIP PM me we have one left in stock with a warranty.
