    Looking for Fanuc 6T-B Manual

Hey guys, I don't post here often, just over in 'bridgeport / hardinge machines.'

I'm looking at buying a used Takisawa TS-15 lathe. The lathe has a fanuc 6t-b controller. It's been really tough trying to locate manuals for this control even though its a fanuc.

I also need manuals for the lathe itself. That's even more obscure I believe.

Anyway, if anyone has 6t-b manuals, I'd be happy to buy them or a copy from you (right away!!)

    Thanks

you can buy 6T manuals on ebay (etc). no PDFs are available.
if you just need basic programming info any Fanuc manual will do with only minor differences. mostly you need to use G50 to set X/Z tool positions. Much of the rest is the same.
Programming-wise, Fanuc 10-15 series is closest. 15B manual is available free online in pdf.

Indeed it has been tough to find this as a PDF. I've found a couple of possible manual sources. My big worry is that I have an appt. to see this machine under power (and write a check for it) on Jan. 25 (in 6 days) and I need to learn as much as possible before that.

yes fanuc sells a brand new un-used hardcopy for $35 + shipping. It was in pristine condition and arrived in a foam lined box. do not bother with buying it from PDF people (the 6T is not available like that anyway).

I am happy that you are sorted.
I was looking for a manual myself, but Fanuc South Africa told me it is no more available and that they can scan one for me and that it will cost a small fortune.
I manage to loan one from someone and got it scanned myself and saved it into a PDF file.
The book is a bit mishandled but it is ok to use.
Did you buy it from Fanuc in USA?
