MACHINE CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF A TOOL CHANGE

Samsung mcv50 vertical machining center. Very tall work pc. Activated tool change while part was under spindle. Doh! When tool change arm brought tool out of spindle, tool hit top of part. That stopped the tool change in the middle. Can't seem to figure out how to get the tool change finished, now, to go on and do some work. Any ideas? Thnx.

You might want to try completely powering down, take off some of the panels around the tool changer, and see if you can rotate the carriage back to home position allowing the tool access door to close (this should also release the limit switch that is usually above the tool changer).
