    post processor - simple question

    hellooo!!
i am trying to create a post processor using the pro/manufacture for a 5axis milling machine.
the machine has 2 rotary axis, B(-5/+110) and C(-360/+360).
in the option file generator, in tab ''secondary rotary table'' there is a choice for ''nutator angle'' (where, If the secondary rotary axis rotates in an inclined plane (nutator), specify the positive angle of this plane measured from X to Z or Y to Z in a counter clockwise direction)
the secondary rotery axis for my case is B (rotation about y axis).

i think the nutator angle for my machine is 0.
    Am i right???
i am trying to understand what is the ''nutator angle''!!
    please help me!!!

    hi,
i hope that you already found the answer but i will post anyway
the nutator angle is the angle that live head tool can make it, you will find this info also in gpost help instructions

    Hi,

Nutator angle only applies to the non-orthogonal head. to understand this concept in a better way see the head mechanism of DMU60P.
I am sure this will work you 100%, otherwise let me know.

Re: post processor - simple question

nutator angle is only for headaxis like this
    Nutating CA/CB head Setup
At this machine nutator angle is 45 deg.The offsets of DZ and DX are needed.
At orthogonal spindles which centers of C axis and B axis or any other are coincidence nutator angle does not exist and can be ignored.
