    Any software solution for measuring all contour lelngth on a dxf/dwg drawing

    Hi,

    I'm looking for a good software to be able to get a quick view of how long is the cutting length on a drawing, counting the length of the holes too.
    I have a formula which with we can make a quick price for laser cutting, but I need the total length and the number of piercing points. (The formula is corect for normal cutting technique, not for small contour technique).

    Is there any software to do the job? Eventually a VBA add-in for AutoCad/Inventor?

    try this: OpenSCAM

    use time info from openscam with speed of cutting head to calculate length

    I treied OpenScam, but I think this is not what I'm looking for.
    I wasn't even able to open a dxf drawing.
