Need help Puma 8s z-axis overtravel alarm

    1995 Daewoo Puma 8s S/N PM8S-0295 with Fanuc 0t control
Z-axis overtravel alarm won't clear at all even with CAN-P upon bootup. We have tried....Powered down completely, Manually turned ball screw, Replaced z-axis limit switches. No E-stop button appears stuck. Pressed & held ready button & emergency release to power hydraulics, no success. Any more ideas please ???

Try to increase the z + value to 99999999 in soft OT parameter , . in Puma 8 S some Bits are there where the CAn+P during power hold will not work , So try to increase the value of the Soft OT in parameter .or check the CAN or P button soft Keys ? Is it stucked ? or any other keys are stucked Like Soft KEy ?
    Regards

What are the values of parameters 1320 and 1321 for the Z-axis?

When you press the Blue-emergency-release button and hold it, then press the machine ready button and hold it - Does the green <machine ready button> flash for 5 seconds and then turn solid? Does it continue to flash? or does it do nothing?

If nothing while buttons are pressed, check the status of X8.1 (if X8.1=0 there is an ESTOP condition, check all switches and wiring)

If X8.1=1 and the green button stays lit as long as the blue button is held in there is a "Hard Limit" alarm. Check for positioning, or limit switch function, or limit switch wiring.

If 1320 and/or 1321 are set to a value other than the one from the Blue Book that came with the machine, (right down the current value) then set them to 99999999 (for positive soft limit) and -99999999 for negative soft limit. Press reset, if alarm clears - tuning is needed to set the soft limits to the appropriate location.
