Hello, Im sorry if this has already been covered, but I am new to CNCzone.com

I have a copy of mastercam X6 Demo and at roughly the 2/3 point I receive this error:

"Error 1330. A file that is required cannot be installed because the cabinet file (D:\x64\data\mastercam x6 demo-hle\data1.cab) has an invalad digital signature. This may indicate that the cabinet file is corrupt. error 266 was returned by WinVerify Trust."

Then shortly after that I receive the same error with this file name

(D:\common\samplefiles\data1.cab)

I have tried to re-install several times and it fails every time. Any info would help. I will check back as much as possible to provide any info needed to help solve this problem.

How long have you had this demo installed ??

--- sounds like it may have timed out, demos don't run forever

- try a full un-install of the demo, then install it again. If that fails, then it probably looks at your PC's registry & detects the previous install....the only way to overcome this is to wipe your hard drive, & re-install everything again,to start with a clean registry

no need to wipe the hard drive. if you are comfortable with working the registry, perform a search within the registry for all instances of mcamx and delete the entry.

I was able to get it working. Had to do a fresh windows install and for some reason the sample files provided had some corrupted files. I just got some files from work to start working on.
