    True 4 Axis CNC Software

Does anyone know of a software platform that can create a true 4-Axis GCode? We have a 4-Axis CNC and all the code we find generates cuts on one plane, then rotates and cuts on another plane. Basically only XYZ work at one time, then the machine rotates the piece (XYZ do not move) then it starts cutting again.
Is there software that can generate GCode that utilizes all 4 axis at the same time?

    Thank you

There are lots of them. What is your budget though? Some of them can get ridiculously expensive.

I guess I'm willing to look into it if its available, whats the cheapest, GCode is Gcode...I don't really need something like Solidworks or MasterCam as far as building models, we're more art oriented rather than engineering or machining.

    Thanks

Look through the list of CAM vendor forums here, visit their web sites to get a sense of what each one does, and then download the demo or trial version of the ones that look most appropriate to you. Try those out and then pick the one that works the best for your needs and meets your budget.

Or upload a picture of one of your typical projects and hazard a guess on what you can afford to spend. That should elicit a few opinions on potential candidates for your situation.

If you are not making airfoils, turbines, or manifolds, true 4/5 axis is rarely needed.

Making art goes the other way, find out what is possibble, then find something for it to do.
