Question how to force M0 between toolpaths?

I have a part that requires tapping many holes.
    I don't have a tapping head.
I defined a toolpath that drills all the holes, now I want to insert my spring loaded tap guide into the spindle and define toolpaths that move to the center of each hole in turn, and pauses the program at each hole so that I can manually tap the hole. I would hit cycle start each time to move to the center of the next hole....

Is there a trick to achieve this without editing the G code?
I have thought of altering the tool number of the tap guide between each hole, and I have thought of using MDI to manually type in the G0's into Mach. Is anyone doing anything more automated to force an M0 into a toolpath?
    thanks....

Find and replace in a text editor may possibly work. Find X, and replace with M0 X.

You can also make a special post processor for your threading operations that makes the stop and no threading. Make a copy of the post you are using and play around. It's just a plain text file so any simple editor will do the work.

You may be interested to know that the ability to run drill cycles, including tapping, is planned for madCAM 5.
