    Error 407

Well I got my machine in and on power finally, but when I power it up and lift the Z up I got a alarm error 407. It did not get that when I went and looked at it. Now the one thing I have done was I had to take the servo motor off to get it in, could this have coursed the error? I did check with the local tech before I took it off and he said I could do it with no problems.

Is there anything I can do to fix it? has taking the motor off given me the error? or do I have to get the same tech I spoke too out to fix it?

The controller is a Fanuc OI-mate mb.

Its a excess alarm , Either overload mechanically . or excessive deviation
Reset the control . check the motor position physically and axis

make sure the brake have released,
also for transportation a bracket is mounted to keep the z-axis stable, is this bracket removed.

Have removed all the transport brackets/ties as well as the bar.

Like I said I Google it and this is what I got

"The following error occurred during simple synchronous control:
The difference in machine coordinates between the synchronized axes
exceeds the value set in parameter No. 8314."

How do you check the motor position physically and axis is there a procedure for this?
