    Bobcad

I'm looking for a cam software package for a machine shop that I just started. My budget is getting a little low, so I've been looking at the lower end packages for now.

I use Autodesk Inventor for all of my CAD work. I need to do some 3d contouring for small injection molds that I build. My CNC mill has a Dynapath Delta 20 system.

I've looked at OneCNC Mill Advantage and was very impressed. I've also looked at BobCAD. I'm not as impressed with BobCAD V20, but for the difference in price, I'm wondering if I should just purchase BobCAD and use it for a year or two until I can afford a higher end, more robust package.

I would greatly appreciate any feedback on BobCAD V20.

    Thanks!!

I've purchased BobCAD, and it works..... But, I've found something much better. SprutCAM. www.sprut.ca

Does most of the stuff really high end packages do but for little monies. It integrates with inventor and solidworks quite nicely.

I would have to recommend onecnc xr2 pro for any mold work it will make your new job so easy.

I use it at work with a Dynapath Delta 20 system
