    Citizen E32: Servo Alarm 25

    Hello all,

I've encountered a problem that I can't seem to fix on my own. My Citizen E32 is giving me Servo Alarm 25, and I can't seem to reset it. Turning off the machine's power does nothing, and anything else I've tried hasn't accomplished much either.

    Any ideas?

Without knowing what "Servo Alarm 25" is, it's hard to tell. What version of machine do you have?

Can I get a copy of this list of yours? Or do you know of any site which I can get it from? I did not get one with my machine.

You guys are absolutely right. Replacing the battery has remedied the E25 alarm.

Thanks very much for your help.

My book, being around for 20 years, has seen better days. All the pages stick together and some of them are hard to read. Personally, if you plan on keeping the machine for any length of time, I would contact Citizen and buy the book for the control. I am not sure of the price of that book. The maintenance manual I bought for our E32 was about $250 and took about 4 weeks to get from Japan. Depending on how old the machine is, you may be able to have them email you a PDF of the manual you need. They didn't have one in PDF for my machine so I had to fork out the bucks for the printed version.

    Good hunting!

Re: Citizen E32: Servo Alarm 25

Gizmo 454, This is my first time on this forum. I have a 1993 Citizen E32 and my electronics tech thinks the battery on the PLC went low and the machine has lost it's program. When we power the machine up the screen comes on but, is blank. I have the original program on floppy but, need the software to upload to the machine. We do not know what software it takes. Any help here would be appreciated very much. My number is 402/228/8461

    Thank you,
    Mike
