    cold rolled steel for rails

Ordered some 12' pieces of 3/16" x 1.5" cold rolled steel to make some linear guides for my bishop wisecarver-type v-bearings to ride on. Lining up the opposite end and the middle, this is how much diversion they have on one end. The one on the top is about 5/8" of an inch out.

Laying the worst one up on edge, on a straight surface, with the crown up, I am able to push the curve down flat. If I drill my mounting holes along each rail, 8" on center, and connect these to my 80/20 aluminum 1.5"x3" t-slot, would that pull enough of the curve out to work? Or should I not try using these at all?

    Thanks
    Wayne
