    Unhappy SURFACE JOINT

    HELLO EVERYBODY I need help stitching or jointing two surfaces together so i can machine them as one surface. is there a method to unite or combine two or more surfaces into one in mastercam x5 any advice will be appreciated thank you for your time and knowledge.

    Only thing I know is to use Solid > Create solid from surfaces. Be sure to put on a new level and not delete your old surfaces in case you need them again.

    extend the surfaces until they intersect then use the trim surface to surface function
    If you can ENVISION it I can make it

    There is no direct tool to join surfaces. without seeing what to surface shapes you are trying to join, I find it hard to give direct answer.

    I am sure I will be corrected at some point, but this will only result in 2 surfaces. I think the original poster was wanting only 1 surface made from 2. I think the Surface > Create from solid method I mentioned will make 2 surfaces into 1 if they lie in the same plane.
