I made up this little tool rack out of some scrap HDPE a few weeks ago and thought others might be interested in the idea. It's handy for manual tool changes and can be moved along the rail almost anywhere that is convenient. 10 tools is usually enough for most of my jobs but I'm already starting to think of making another.

I made something similar out of aluminum. I've got 4 that hold 8 tools (as shown below) and 2 that hold 12. They can hang from the chip tray, or stand on their own.

Scott - your dual-mount (tray or table) design seems a better approach to me. That makes it easy to set up different trays for repeating jobs.

Ditto, I'd like to see a profile shot also. The back of the two trays look different. Is there a separate mount for the tray when it hangs on the tray edge or is it integrated into both trays?

I hadn't riveted the hanger on the back of the rack sitting on the table.
