Is it possible to force a milling operation to start in a hole

I have a small part (2.5" x 1.5" x .5) that I am tool path-ing. In the center there is a 1" counter bore on top of a 3/8" through hole.. There is a small space off of the 1" counter bore that also needs to be milled.

I have some new Niagara roughers that I picked up recently I would like to try use. They are not center cutting. I would like to start milling the 1" counter bore inside the 3/8" hole to avoid plunging. I have a 5/16" or a 1/4" that I was going to use for this. Is this possible with V25 and how would I do it?

    Any ideas?

Put a point in the center of your hole.Select it it as your start point.

JSYK,if you Ramp, you can do it with out center cutting end mill.

Ah, I figured it was something like that. With your hint I went off looking how to do that, it's the Drill Tip Positions under the feature tree. The trick is to set the point that it needs at the __BOTTOM__ of the hole you want to enter through. The tool path will be computed from that point upwards.

I tried using Ramp, but every time I unchecked the "Center Cutting Tool" check box it would only leave the Plunge option up and it was auto-checked.

    Thanks for the help.
