They have produced RhinoCAM within the last year and are supposed to have VM6 out in the near future.
Check out the VisualMill user forum at MecSoft.com.
You can also email support directly; they are very helpfull

I e-mailed them a couple of weeks ago to see if they planned to get into simultaneous 5-axis. The answer was yes, to be released in May or June.
Definitely not stagnant!

They're working on VisualTurn at the moment, so not much is being done currently on VM6 or RhinoCAM, I suspect. --ch
I received my information directly from Anita at MecSoft.so not much is being done currently on VM6 or RhinoCAM, I suspect.
Here it is:
Dan,
5th axis continous machine toolpaths have been developed . We will release
in May - June 2006.
Can't get much clearer than that.

Well, personally, I wish they would attack some of the more pressing problems of the current VM/RhinoCAM 2.5/3 axis implementation before diving into 5 axis, not to mention lathe and wire... It's a question of distributing development resources. I'd rather have one smashingly good product than 4 weaker ones... --ch
