    where to get cheap capacitors?

I need a capacitor for my power supply but cant seem to find any place online that has them. If you know where to get one, and better yet, where they are cheap, that would be great.
    Thanks

I got mine from Mouser. Electrolytic capacitors get stale with age. Be careful -- cheap isn't always cost effective.

eBay. 400V 3900 uF = 9.95. I bought 4 to cover future projects as well.

Also look at PartsExpress which has good deals on caps as well as toroidal power transformers and bridge rectifiers.

Electronic Surplus Inc in Cleveland Ohio - Also known as ESI.

They have a website. VERY Easy to do business with (dare I say easier than Ebay - no handling charges) and they do have internet shopping.

Shopped there for years before I moved away and never had a problem with anything, even the monster salvaged caps.

I would just use digikey.com Time you save will pay for the extra couple bucks you would save. prices around 10-15 for 100V-10,000 mfd(uF)
