    Anyone have any tips on how to thread mill a female 1 1/2 NPT on gibbscam?

    Have you tried Plugins -> Geometry -> Create Tapered Thread?

    No. but I do have a macro that I use to mill tapered threads. I venture away from CAM when it suits me.

    NPT treads easy.

    Just use the plug-in for a tapered thread. It will let you select which NPT you want. I always works for me. Just remember a 2 deg. taper cutter will help the threads to be perfect when you do the bore.
