This is in a tree 310 Is a cavity mill event an option. I noticed it in the manual but I can't find it in the control. It isn't something I need to use. I would like to dripfeed from a PC in the future. I have found lots of info on doing this in the older posts. It sounds kinda tricky to get the cable wired right to do this.

I am not sure how you are trying to find the cavity mill function, but if you have a program called up and are in program mode, have a line number selected and then push the event type key, cavity mill should be one of the options. Also, your manual should have a wiring diagram for the rs 232 cable. However, I can tell you from experience, it isn't always right but it is a good place to start.

Been years, but I thought cavity mill was in the circle mill/frame mill event.
