does anybody know if you can write labels in Edgecam if so where do you write them and call them up?

in heidenhain programming labels are like sub-routines

Should be easy enough. Make sure you've selected a tnc post, try a new adaptive tnc template if you're not sure.
Then when you select a cycle which gives you the option to select subroutines it should output with lbl's.
Done loads in my time.
