    Help needed calibration of bonmet drives

    Hi Guys,

    I Am in real need of help.

    Story goes...

    One of the axis drives has broken so ordered a new one from same supplier fitted it etc

    i am having great difficulty with getting the cnc to cut a symmetrical octagon.

    so the pic shows blue and red,

    Blue is my drawing

    red is actual cut the opposites read the same

    i have adjusted the proportional gain on the drives to get to a better spot and the above is the result.

    Before it was over a mm.

    Does any one know bonmets sa series servo drives well enough to help??
