Question - Dealing with VMC1000/22 DX32 Tool Changer

    Hello All,

If I disable my tool changer by setting the number of tool parameter to zero (0), will the controller still recognize my tool table configuration and information?

What I am hoping to achieve is when a T2M6 command is received, the spindle come up, and I manually change the tool (and continue) but the controller recognizes the tool #2 configuration I have loaded - I need to do the tool change manually until I get my TC fixed :-(

    Thanks,
    Shaffin.

It's very simple, eliminate that command ( T2M6), so the machine won't try to move the changer; by providing commands like G43 H2 ( G41/42 D2 for instance) it will recognize your tool offsets, in length as well as diameter.
