    G0704 Z ball nut oiling

I need peoples thought on how to setup an oiling system for the ball nut on the G0704 Z axis. I have the y and x axis figured out. Any thoughts, pictures or anything would help.

Given that the screw is vertical, the easy way is to put a copper tube just touching the top of the screw. Crimp the end of the tube to control the flow, or you could use the proper flow restrictor. We did this to the Shizuoka and it works perfect, the oil runs down the screw at about a drop a minute. Might be a bit much oil, but it is well lubed. I can get a picture of it if needed.

You would install a zerk fitting (M6 thread usually) into your ballnut and run a flexable line all the way up and then 180 degrees back down the column to your nut, it will move with the axis up and down. Or do as above ^
