    Place Constraints in an assembly

    Using Inventor 2011

I've got something going on I can't seem to figure out.

During the assembly of two parts I can apply "mate" constraints and the parts don't update when picked. The "show preview" sunglasses are greyed out a little and it won't activate.

I have to go up to "manage" and click "rebuild all" to get the parts to pop in place.

I didn't use to have to do this, but today I do.

    Any Ideas?

Been on this drawing for a couple of days and have a long way to go.

    Thanks, AJ

I never could figure it out... I didn't have the problem on another computer that had inventor installed so it wasn't the drawing...

I did a "repair install" and the problem went away.

Just one of those things I guess....
