Unveiling of the Pulsar milling machnie!!!

We are proud to announce the unveiling of the all new Pulsar servo milling machine at the Cabin Fever EXPO in York, PA on April12-14, 2013.

The Pulsar is an all servo machine with rigid tapping, travel speeds of 500 IPM, with power and accuracy using 3 phase AC servo axes motors. Table travels have increased to an impressive 9.5" x 15.75". Preset mounts for the pending automatic tool changer KIT are included in the castings. A rugged lever draw bar is available to allow for rapid tool changes using the TTS or QTC tool systems.

The coolant and stand has radically been changed to allow for larger storage of coolant with finer liquid filtration. Two coolant pumps allow one pump to be used for the wash down spray hose, and the second pump to be used for spindle nozzle coolant. No more mess to clean up...just wash it down the drain!

Our Torus PRO customers will be able to see our servo Torus PRO running as well. See the smooth operation of the servos in person.

For all of our machines, Novakon Financing is available at reasonable rates. We've made it easier to own the ultimate mill!

We invite you to join us at the EXPO and see our machines in action.

    Pulsar Sneak Preview

We are very excited you have expressed an interest for a sneak preview of our newest machine, the Pulsar Servo.

We have attached a few "behind the scenes" pictures to give you a visual of some of its features. You will notice that the electrical cabinet is being integrated with the servo motor drivers and the computer. It is worthy to note that each machine's final assembly and testing is accomplished in North America prior to shipment.

    You will notice that:

    • The sloped drain pan empties into the center of the stand for chip separation and accumulation of recycled coolant.
    • The wash hose sprayer is used for easier cleanup.
    • The Y-axis servo motor shows the modular connections for easier maintenance.
    • The oil distribution system disperses oil to all locations more effectively.
    • Tools can be quickly changed by using the lever draw bar. A simple pull of the lever for fast tool changing without using shop air or complicated controls is a key point of our design.

Stay tuned for more pictures which will be released from the Cabin Fever EXPO this coming week.

We will be more than happy to answer your technical questions you may have regarding application of the Pulsar Servo to your needs.

    Regards,
    Novakon Team

    A little more...

Here is a little more to look over.

The coolant drainage and collection system is a major upgrade in the new PULSAR Servo. In the attached pictures, you can see the 2 drawer system where the chips are collected in the screen section where it is easy to open and clean out. Additional filtering is available on the lower drawer where there is room for 7 gallons of coolant and additional filtering. An additional layer of filtering of a fine filtration cloth may be added beneath the screen for the microscopic particles.

Notice the two pumps and you can see one pump is used for the wash down hose and the other is for the coolant nozzle. There is plenty of coolant and volume to wash away your work chips and keep your machine clean.

    More to come....

    Regards,

I really like the looks of the coolant system! If that stand is compatible with the Torus Pro I would definitely consider buying one. Alas, I suspect that it isn't.

Very interested in this. Looking to purchase a complete mill package very soon.

What is the ETA of specs being online and the machine becoming available for purchase?

Hey buddy, the line forms at the rear.
That is a fine looking machine with some nice upgrades. I do intend to update a few things on the Torus in the not too distant future.
I just looked at a few Youtube videos of a few past shows. Some very interesting stuff in those.
Good luck up there and have some fun.

This is clear as mud. So the Pulsar is a step up from the 145?

I think the Torus is considered the updated NM145 with it's AC servo spindle and the Pulsar is the all Servo Updated Torus. Lots more other goodies too.

The PULSAR is a redesigned machine from the ground up. We have been collecting notes and comments from customers for over a year and came up with the best of what our customers asked for. Other than a mill still looks like a mill, the PULSAR is a total redesign, heavier and more capable with Power Draw Bar (PDB) and Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) KITs just around the corner.

The PDB and ATC KITs will also be available for the TORUS and earlier NM-200 models shortly after they are completed for the PULSAR and TORUS PRO. The KIT designs are "cutting edge technology" and will also complete our earlier machine models into a fully automated systems for any shop.

Please stay tuned for more information to follow!

Sorry for so many of the same posts...it seems the new zone software doesn't work as well as the old stuff.

Thank you for your interest in our new PULSAR Servo mill. We have just returned a very successful presence at the Cabin Fever EXPO in York, Pennsylvania, where we were met with great enthusiasm regarding this new unveiling. We will be taking some professional photos of this mill this coming week for reference purposes which you will be able to see on our webpage scheduled to be posted within a 2 week period from today.

We would like to point out that the PULSAR Servo series is intended to be a fully automatic system by upgrading with our PDB and ATC conversion KITs ready for mounting on the pre-casted mounts. In a standard configuration, the mill presently has a lever drawbar available for rapid tool changes without using shop air or electric power of any sort. These enhanced features will turn this mill into a powerhouse with full automation that our customers have asked for in the past. More about these features will posted in our forum at the CNC zone and in our webpage very soon.

The PULSAR Servo mills are in production presently and will be available for sale approximately by June 30th. Since we have a high interest in this particular model, we have opted to start reserving orders as well as creating a distribution list for direct release of additional information. If you wish to add your name to this list, please contact [email protected] and we will be happy to assist you and discuss more specific details.

Please also note that our machines can be 100% financed with in house leasing program.

Some of the features of the PULSAR Servo mill are shown below for your review. We hope this helps with your questions and we look forward to your inquiries and comments.

    Regards,

    Novakon Team
